My family moved to Seattle in 1946 when my dad got out of the Army. Boeing jobs were a big attraction and we settled on Beacon Hill. I graduated from Cleveland High School and after a stint in the Navy, graduated from the University of Akron in Ohio with a degree in accounting. I practiced as a CPA for about half of my professional career the other half involved in managing financial functions for medium sized companies and in the last few years ended up being a systems analyst in support of enterprise level financial software. After being a "bean counter" for 30 some years, it seemed as though being in the real estate business would be more relaxed and enjoyable. I was wrong on the relaxed and right on the enjoyable. I understand numbers, paying attention to detail and working hard to achieve the goal. I plan to use those things every day in helping my seller clients to sell their home in the shortest time at the best price and for my buyer clients, to quickly find their affordable dream home.
